J. Willis Pratt Benefit Concert
Saturday, June 16, 2018
A group of Central Vermont musicians including Donna Thunder, Django Soulo, Bad Dog, Stone Bullet, The Peter Mayhew Band, J. Willis Pratt & We’re Bionic, and music artist Jon Fishman from Phish will take the stage at Goddard College’s historic Haybarn Theatre on Saturday, June 16, to raise money to support local Plainfield musician J. Willis Pratt in his fight with cancer. J. Willis Pratt is a longtime Plainfield resident and accomplished musician with his own unique style and story. Pratt grew up at the Maple Hill School, a group home in Plainfield, Vermont, until he moved out in 1980 at the age of 18. He remained in Plainfield afterward, focused on making rock music, and developed a sound all his own. In the late 1980s, Pratt was drawn to the Goddard College campus where he began to make friends and network with other musicians. It was during this time that he met Phish drummer and Goddard student Jon Fishman.
