  1. Vanishment, new work by Vermont artist Janet Van Fleet

    April 9, 2019, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM @ Vermont Supreme Court Gallery

    Vanishment, new work featured by Vermont artist Janet Van Fleet, will be on view at the Vermont Supreme Court Gallery from April 2 through June 28, 2019, with an opening reception on Thursday, April 4, 4-7 PM. The exhibit explores the fraught relationship between humans and the natural world, using, in part, materials that Van Fleet has repurposed from previous bodies of work.

  2. Central / Northeast Kingdom Vermont Watercolor Society at The T.W. Wood Gallery

The Vermont Watercolor Society will exhibit works of Janice Avery, Lisa Beach, Joann DiNicola, Gary Eckhart, Terry Hodgdon, Susan Bull Riley, Michael Ridge and more at the T.W.   3. Ray Brown and Toby Bartles - Steps on a Journey – An Exhibit of Two Vermont Painters

    The T. W. Wood Gallery at 46 Barre St at the Center for Arts and Learning in Montpelier, Vermont is pleased to announce an exhibit of Vermont painters Ray Brown and Toby Bartles. Both artists share much in common with the second generation abstract expressionists, as they both draw influence for painterly choices from immediate surroundings such as landscape or architecture to create inner meaning.

  4. Estate Planning Course with Attorney Claudia Pringles

    April 9, 2019, 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM @ Montpelier Senior Activity Center

    In this 6 week course, Montpelier Attorney, Claudia Pringles, will address some of the key Estate Planning questions and concerns of seniors. Tuesdays 6pm-7:30pm beginning April 9th. The areas on which she will focus are the importance of matching skills and temperament to task when choosing who will play key roles involved in Estate Planning; how transparency in the process can help keep peace in your family; safeguarding the assets of family members who have difficulty managing such on their own; protecting oneself and one’s loved ones in the event of disability or incapacitation; and making sure that your wishes are carried out with the least amount of distress to your loved ones. This class will be presented in conversational English—not in legal jargonese. Opportunity for Q & A. Light refreshments available.
