  1. Capital City Farmer's Market

    July 20, 2019, 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM @ State Street

    Over 50 vendors gather each Saturday, from May through October, to sell locally grown and made products, unique to Vermont and astounding in quality. Live music every week and special events throughout the season make the market a gathering place for Central Vermont residents. Fresh vegetables and fruits, quality meats, specialty cheeses, artisan bread, baked goods, ethnic foods, herbs, plants, flowers, arts and crafts, honey and maple syrup…the list goes on and on. Join us and see how much Vermont has to offer!

  2. Slime Mold Field Walk

    July 20, 2019, 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM @ North Branch Nature Center

    The slime molds are fruiting! These tiny predators hunt like amoebas, fruit like mushrooms, and come in a wide array of (astonishingly tiny) shapes and vibrant colors. Join Shelby Perry on a field exploration to learn the basic life cycle of slime molds, find and identify a handful of common local species, and learn a bunch of neat new vocabulary words like plasmodium, columella, aethalium, and plasmodiocarp. It will be less slimy --and more fun-- than you think!

  3. Annual Summer Juried Art Exhibit at T.W. Wood Gallery

    July 20, 2019, 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM @ T. W. Wood Gallery

    Reception: July 11th , from 5-7pm. The exhibit features work by Natalie Boze, Janet Brighenti, Patty Corcoran, Anne Fugaro, Katie O'Rourke, Frederick Rudi, Joshua Saxe and many others. The exhibit primarily features oil paintings, along with acrylic, pastel, photography, mixed media. Overall, the work the jury chose is quiet and contemplative. The exhibit has a very peaceful tenor and offers a welcome refuge from a busy summer.

  4. Values – Work by the Art Resource Association

    The Art Resource Association is an organization of Central Vermont artists whose goal is to promote and support its member artists. The word " Values" takes on many meanings in the art world and also in our own lives. Reception - July 11th - 5:00 - 7:00 pm

  5. Parkapalooza

    July 20, 2019, 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM @ Hubbard Park

    Everyone is invited to join the Montpelier Parks Department for their annual summer concert series, Parkapalooza! Every third Saturday of the month, from June through September, join Parks staff at Hubbard Park for an afternoon of music and fun. Each concert will feature great local music, delicious food from a community vendor, and various activities. Parkapalooza is suitable for guests of all ages and is an affordable, fun summer option for residents and guests of Montpelier to get outdoors and enjoy fun activities in a beautiful place!
