Open Studio Weekend at Blue Roof Designs
10:00am-5:00pm Open Studio Weekend at Blue Roof DesignsIn my studio in Montpelier, you will find me hand-binding journals, photo albums, and guest books using traditional bookbinding techniques. I love making blank books – every one is meant to be transformed by the owner making each truly one-of-a-kind. I also enjoy creating artist’s books - this is when the combination of text, imagery, and structure result in the book becoming an art object, in and of itself. It is meant to be touched and interacted with. Come for a tour of the studio, demonstrations, and captivating conversation about the world of handmade books. There will also be savings up to 50% off seconds and discontinued styles and bookbinding supplies will be available for purchase. Wait until you see my paper drawers! Children welcome! I’m studio #62 in the gold Fall Event & Resource Guide.
