Baker will discuss how she came to write Longbourn, inspired by her own family history and her love for Jane Austen. Jo Baker has written six other novels. This free event will be online via Zoom. Everything you wanted to know about cheese but were afraid to ask. Talk will cover a variety of topics with Q&A and cheese tasting to follow. Joe Howansky was born on a dairy farm and currently makes cheese for von Trapp farmstead. He was never too far away from cheese at any point in between. Step out of the audience and onto the stage for this fun class! Dancing to Broadway show tunes from beginning to end, participants will warm up to build the strength needed for safe dancing, learn dance steps and combinations, and explore how they can use movement to tell a story. Taught by LNT's Associate Managing Director and dance teacher for over 20 years, Brandy Perez. Class will culminate with an Interactive Sharing of the works created during the 8-week session. Protocols for Covid-19 Safety - including masking and testing - will be followed. Please call us if you have concerns. To keep everyone as safe as possible, LNT is limiting enrollment to 12 participants. No audition necessary. No prerequisites. Suitable for first time and returning students, age 9-12.
