Who doesn't love chocolate??
Our cozy downtown celebrates its first ever Cocoa Crawl to make the holidays even cozier. Throughout the day on Saturday, December 16th, you'll find an assortment of chocolate offerings at your favorite shop or cafe. Great gift ideas for the chocolate lovers too!
Local musicians peform on the 16th at three venues where you can enjoy cocoa (or another beverage) and get warm!
Music during the Montpelier Cocoa Crawl
- Rabble Rouser: Chloe and Evan perform Jazz voice and keys from 10:30 am -12:30pm. Enjoy the cafe’s peppermint hot chocolate and peppermint mochas special while listening.
- Capitol Grounds: Dee Davis. Acoustic guitar from 12-2, featuring Capitol Grounds signature hot chocolate with whipped cream.
- North Branch Cafe: Soprano Lillian Broderick and Mezzo-soprano Nessa Rabin perform selections from the canon of favorite holiday carols from 1-3pm. North Branch is featuring chocolate mint tea latte and dessert, Chocolate Divine.
- Woodbelly Pizza: Django Sould Saturday night from 6-8 pm

AroMed Essentials: Get some CBD peanut butter cups from Rosie's Confections!
Bailey Road: How about a Classic Cocoa Stick? Add two cubes in milk to make an instant delicious hot cocoa!
Bear Pond Books: Jelly Cat Hot Cocoa Stuffies are a great holiday gift, 25% off on Saturday for the Cocoa Crawl (a stuffed mug of hot chocolate)
Birchgrove Bakery: Savor a slice of double chocolate layer cake.
Blossom Wellness Center's Holiday Market (12-5 pm, 7 Main Street): Prophecy Chocolates - Mateo & Wasi - bean-to-bar chocolates with heirloom cacao beans, natural sweeteners & (for some) herb, spices, wild plants!
Bohemian Bakery: Stay warm with a mug of hot cocoa with whipped cream with a gingerbread cookie stick.
Capitol Grounds (with music): Hot cocoa with whipped cream, yummy! Local favorite Dee Davis plays acoustic guitar from 12pm -2pm.
Capitol Stationers: will offer organic chocolate coin samples to taste!
Delish: Along with their incredible variety of chocolates, Delish is featuring Hot Cocoa Caramels!
Grian Herbs: features an assortment of chocolate offerings they make including, Mushroom Hot Cocoa,, Bulk Chocolate Chaga Chai, and Chocolate Brown Sugar Body Scrub. Other local products include Prophecy Chocolates from Hardwick, VT, Ariel's Honey: Bee My Honey with raspberries and dark chocolate from Waitsfield VT, Mushroom Mocha Mix by ANIMA MUNDI, Euphoria powder blend w/ cacao by ANIMA MUNDI, Dark Hot Chocolate Mix with Turmeric by Elements Ayurveda, and an assortment of chocolate bars by Seattle Chocolate.

Katie's Jewels: Reopening on Saturday and will have guilded chocolate truffles to celebrate!

Woodbelly Pizza: Ever had chocolate in pizza? Woodbelly offers a specialty cocoa pizza slice in collaboration with Procepehcy Chocolate, plus they have delicious chocolatey whoopie pies! 11 am-10 pm. Enjoy your pizza to the sounds of Django Sould Saturday night from 6-8 pm
